GUIDE TO
SCIENCE EDUCATION

I've never participated in a blog before. So, this is a new beginning for me.
"Why now? Why this?" you may ask. I finally have something to say... Not long ago, a now former Facebook friend made a feeble minded and insulting post clearly indicated that he didn't even know what science is. The fact that a man could live to be in his 60s and truly not know what science is blew my mind. How could this be? That became the impetus for me to create this blog. I've been teaching science for many years, it's my life's work. Via this blog, I can spread my teaching and dialogue with other thinking minds without the confines of my classroom. In future posts, I intend to explore the essential purpose of science education, ideas in science education, and interesting science happenings in general. Please join me. Add your comments and thoughts and questions. Scientifically yours, Nadene
